Mixed media on canvas
My practice moves across painting, mixed media, textiles, stitching, collage and participatory work, exploring memory, identity, cultural inheritance and the ways we understand ourselves in relation to others.
Material and making are central to this inquiry. I am interested in what we inherit, what changes through experience, and what we choose to carry forward.

The Living Archives Project
Culture is more than something we inherit. It is something we experience.
The Living Archives Project explores how culture is experienced, shared and carried forward through storytelling, community programs and participatory experiences.
Through initiatives including Living Archives, Stories in Living Languages and Memory Mapping, the project creates opportunities to encounter culture as something living, shared and continually evolving.
